Iris & Alan

It has been an emotional 24 hours... Yesterday morning, we received the terrible news that our friends Iris and Alan have been missing in the Grand Canyons since last Friday, May 23rd. We were at their home last night with friends to support each other and praying for their safe return when the GREAT news arrived that they were found alive by the park rescue teams. They are strong, smart, and backcountry-savvy people with years of mountaineering experience, and we remained very hopeful the entire time. Still, no matter how positive we all tried to be, it sucked, the not knowing part... We cannot wait to see them again and give them hugs over and over again.
