Sleep, breastfeeding, and diapers

In that order of importance, are the only things I seem to be able to talk about... I'm pretty sure I use to be able to converse about other things, interesting things, pre-baby time, but I can't quite recall. In fact, I can't remember what my life was like before Isa.

Sleep: she is starting to sleep 4 to 5 hour stretches at night. She is awake for most of the day and take 45 to 90 minute "cat naps." I'm grateful for this schedule that I had no part in creating or enforcing. She naturally progressed to this schedule, and like I said, I am GRATEFUL.

Breastfeeding: still able to feed a nursery.

Diapers: endless branches of sub-topics on this. Don't even get me started...

Surprisingly, even with my limited conversation skills, we still get invited out to lunches and have steady stream of visitors at the house. Before Isa came, I wasn't sure how I would cope with staying at home, but it is true when people say that being a mom is DEMANDING. I think I have a more active social life now or should say that Isa has a very active social life, and I happen to benefit from it. And with the warm weather, we are finally able to enjoy hikes/walks in the afternoons.

I'll take photos of her in the Baby Bjorn soon. She is SOOO darn cute in it!

Below are photos from our trip to St. George last weekend.
